The existing dwelling was a four bedroom detached house, on Maze Green Road, Bishops Stortford.
layout of the property did not meet the clients vision of living for them and their two children. The existing ground floor was a dysfunctional warren of rooms leading off one another.
With the addition of a single storey crittall style extension, we transformed the way the space was used to enhance the way of living to incorporate the whole family. The large kitchen/dining room, is adjacent to a relaxed living space with a study and piano area, brining the whole family together.
The first floor was reconfigured to have three bedrooms, two with en-suites and all with bespoke wardrobes. The small family bathroom was enlarged to create a spacious family bath/shower room.
The converted loft allowed for the fourth bedroom to be relocated, creating a master bedroom suite with an en-suite and dressing room. The inclusion of a covered outdoor terrace overlooking Bishops Stortford Cathedral, really does finish this house renovation off nicely.
